About Me
I am an experienced storyteller and an admirer of bold, concise copy and people-centered stories. I take direction and run with it; I discover stories and ask the right questions. I am not only fascinated by trends, but with the stories that push them forward.
I have a strong background in storytelling of all types, but creative writing and journalism are close to my heart. I am currently a passionate student in Sarah Lawrence's Writing MFA program, in which I am specializing in poetry and learning more about hybrid forms.
In addition, I have written over 50 journalistic articles for The Sandspur, Rollins College’s newspaper. Over four years, I interviewed community members and wrote stories that highlighted their concerns and hopes for the future. Later, as Editor-in-Chief, I helped my writers realize and develop their stories, which were awarded Gold Circles by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.
I am also certified in SEO writing, inbound marketing, and content marketing through HubSpot as Communications Manager of Daily Giving, a growing nonprofit.
I am confident that my grasp of language, diverse storytelling experience, and precise attention to detail will make me an asset to any team. Please don't hesitate to reach out with questions or ideas.
